At First Baptist Church Remlap we want to offer a place where children from birth through sixth grade can discover and develop a passion for God through discipleship, teaching, and worship.
From Sunday School, Children's Choir, Awana, and a variety of fun activities and events, children are exposed to God’s Word and challenged to grow in their relationship with God.
Listed below is the basic schedule of activities we currently offer. Please be aware that as special events are planned our schedules may be temporarily altered. Please also be aware that Sunday and Wednesday night activities follow the school year.
9:15 AM Sunday School
10:15 AM Chidren's Church: Every other Sunday, children ages Kindergarten - 4th grade participate in Children's Church at First Baptist Church of Remlap. Children's Church is a worship experience designed just for them with the goals of reaching them for Christ and preparing them for their Christian walk and service. Children’s Church includes snacks, games, worship music, an offering, prayer time, and puppet skits. Our desire is to help children understand that becoming a Christian isn't the end, it’s just the beginning!
On the Sundays we do not offer Children's Church, children are encouraged to participate in our Worship Service. There is even a special Children's Sermon delivered just for them from Pastor Mark.
A Nursery is provied for all children birth-4 years old on Sunday mornings.
5:00 PM Young Choir: The Young Choir provides an opportunity for children to participate in the music ministry of our church while learning about music and the Christian faith.
6:00 PM RAs & GAs: Girls in Action (GA) is designed to help girls in grades 1-6 come to faith in Christ, while making missions an important part of their daily lives. They learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle while they participate in Bible study, missions projects and engaging activities. They also have a lot of fun and build lasting memories as they “travel” to various places around the world when they learn about the work of missionaries. Royal Ambassadors (RA) is an exciting and fun-filled missions education organization for boys in grades 1–6. RAs learn about the world, pray for the world, and learn how they can be used to tell others about God's Son, Jesus. An ambassador can be defined as a messenger or representative—someone who tells or reveals truth. Royal Ambassadors seek to share the truth that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
6:30 PM Children participate in our AWANA program.
What is Awana? Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry with fully integrated evangelism and long-term discipleship programs that actively involves parents and church leaders. For over six decades, the Lord has used the ministry of Awana to reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world.
